As a destination wedding photographer I am always impressed, honored, and thankful when a couple books me from seeing my work and just talking to me over the phone. Monica and Daniel live in Utah and they wanted a beach wedding of their dreams and I was humbled to play a role in it. They selected one of my favorite beach locations at The Spyglass Restaurant in Shell Beach who just remodeled their outdoor deck and is a perfect spot for a destination beach wedding.
Even though we had only met through emails and chatting on the phone it didn't take long to feel a part of the party with their friendly guests, fun wedding party, and Monica and Daniel's inviting hospitality. The forecast called for rain so to be extra safe we did a "First Look" and the majority of their wedding photographs on the beach the day before so we didn't have to worry if it was pouring down rain on their wedding day. Spyglass and I had worked out a "Just in Case" plan if their beach wedding was washed out but it was the most beautiful day they had all week. I can't rave enough on how great the staff, location, and service the Spyglass Restaurant was able to offer and how flexible they were to make sure everything was perfect! Not a lot of venues will make an intimate wedding such a high priority and Kari worked extra hard to make sure it was the destination wedding they dreamed about.
